The event forms part of the 2026 Fiestas de La Perdoma in La Orotava. The festivities are held in honour of the patron saints, Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario and San Jerónimo. The programme of events has a tradition stretching back more than 70 years in this district and runs from 30 September to 11 October.

On Monday 5 October, a gymkhana featuring traditional games will begin at 17:00 on Calle San Juan Bautista. According to the programme, a pet meet-up will follow at 17:30 on the church square. A dessert competition is also scheduled for 19:00, although the venue is not specified in the programme. At 19:30, the second day of the Triduum will be celebrated with a solemn Eucharist and a performance by the parish choir.
