At the heart of the monologue lies the question that also drives the ancient myth: money, wisdom or love, which would you choose? The narrative follows the Judgement of Paris, in which jealous goddesses, an indecisive prince and momentous decisions collide.
Ito Ogami's 2025 production weaves the story together with contemporary imagery and symbols. It takes us from Mount Olympus to Instagram, from the golden apple to the Ballon d'Or, whilst also incorporating motifs such as Snow White's apple, beauty contests and gold medals. Thus, the myth appears not only as the origin of the Trojan War, but also as a narrative that extends right into the present day.
The performance will take place at the Asociación Equipo PARA, Calle la Marina 4, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It begins on Friday, 2 October 2026, at 20:30. Admission costs 6 euros; members of Equipo PARA pay 3 euros.
