The event starts at the Plaza del Cristo in La Laguna, from where the races follow routes through the Anaga Mountains. The race forms part of the international K42 Adventure Marathon Series and takes place over three days outdoors. According to the event website, the route passes through well-known trails and locations such as Cruz del Carmen, La Goleta and Chinamada.
The programme is split across the days: KVertical takes place on Friday, followed by K30, K12 and K Kids on Saturday, and K42 and K21 on Sunday. This means the range of events extends from shorter distances right up to marathon distance. There is a separate competition for children: K Kids.
Entry fees are 25 euros for KVertical, 30 euros for K12, 35 euros for K21, 40 euros for K30 and 50 euros for K42. Combined entries for all three days cost 80 or 90 euros, whilst K Kids costs five euros. The registration deadline is 30 November 2026 at 23:59.
