Ramón Gener returns to the Auditorio de Tenerife for an introductory talk, this time focusing on Richard Wagner's “Lohengrin”. The evening forms part of Ópera de Tenerife's opera programme and is linked to the opera's performances from 15 to 21 November.
Gener is billed as a music educator who combines specialist knowledge with accessible explanations. He is the author of books such as “Si Beethoven pudiera escucharme” and “Historia de un piano”. According to the organisers, the evening combines fresh insights into the work with a relaxed atmosphere, making it suitable for both seasoned opera-goers and those who have never been to the opera before.
The event begins at 19:00 in the Sala de Cámara at the Auditorio de Tenerife in Santa Cruz. General admission costs eight euros. Season ticket holders for the 2026/27 season are entitled to a 50 per cent discount, meaning admission costs four euros. The talk will be held in Spanish. Admission is restricted to those aged five and over. Once the doors are closed at the start of the event, no further entry will be permitted.
