Mass and procession in honour of Saint Anthony María Claret

The celebrations begin at the Parroquia de San Antonio María Claret on the Plaza de San Antonio in La Orotava. There, a Mass in honour of San Antonio María Claret and La Milagrosa will be sung by the Grupo Folclórico Támbara from La Orotava.
Afterwards, the procession will wind its way through the streets of the San Antonio neighbourhood. It will be accompanied by the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores de San Juan Bautista from La Orotava.
The Mass and the subsequent procession mark the conclusion of the festivities in honour of San Antonio María Claret in the San Antonio neighbourhood. This year, the festival committee is once again opting for low-noise fireworks out of consideration for local residents and animals.
