The celebration begins at 11:00 at the Ermita de San Francisco de Asís in La Montañeta. The Mass will be celebrated by Don Marcos Antonio García Luis-Moleiro, with musical accompaniment provided by the Asociación Cultural Ben-Gara.
Afterwards, the statues of Saint Francis and the Virgen del Rosario will be carried through La Montañeta along the usual route. The procession will be accompanied by the Agrupación Musical de Garachico.
In the afternoon, the programme moves to the square. At 15:00, a reception for all those present will begin, with music by the group Medio Litro. This will be followed at 16:00 by a performance by Grupo Luna.
The event forms part of the Fiestas de San Francisco de Asís y la Virgen del Rosario in La Montañeta, which will take place from 2 to 7 October 2026 in the neighbourhood above Garachico.
