To kick things off on Friday, 2 October, the RC Sound sound system will arrive at 16:00. From 19:00, 'Tapas y Vinos San Francisco 2026' will take place in the Plaza de San Francisco, featuring Bodegas Canales del Palmar and Cambium. At 21:00, the pop-rock band Risco will perform there.
On Saturday, 3 October, the programme begins at 11:00 with nature activities and bouncy castles in the Plaza de San Francisco. At 16:00, there will be Envite and dominoes tournaments. From 18:00, the Rosary will be recited at the Ermita de San Francisco. At 19:00, a ceremony will mark the 70th anniversary of the Ermita's construction. Ana Oramas, Isidoro Sánchez García, Manuel Nogales, Lorenzo Dorta, José Heriberto González Rodríguez, Magdalena González Gorrín and Guillermina de León González will take part. Juan Manuel Castañeda will moderate a discussion on the history of the chapel up to the present day. At 22:00, there will be a verbena featuring the Los Ideales orchestra.
On Sunday 4 October, at 11:00, Mass will be celebrated in honour of San Francisco and the Virgen del Rosario. It will be presided over by Marcos Antonio García Luis-Moleiro, with musical accompaniment provided by the Asociación Cultural Ben-Gara. Afterwards, the procession will follow its usual route through the village, accompanied by the Agrupación Musical de Garachico. At 15:00, there will be a reception for all those present with music by the group Medio Litro, followed by a performance by Grupo Luna from 16:00.
The event concludes on Wednesday 7 October: at 17:00, the Mass and procession begin, with the statues of San Francisco and the Virgen del Rosario paraded around the square. Afterwards, the flag will be handed over to the new organising committee.
