The programme centres on Maurice Ravel's work 'Ma mère l'Oye', which draws inspiration from the world of children's fairy tales. The performance combines the music with a narrative framework: Ana Hernández Sanchiz has written the script and will present the concert on stage. This creates a way of engaging with the stories not only through words, but also through timbres, pauses and dreamlike atmospheres.
David Fernández Caravaca conducts the Sinfónica de Tenerife. The music brings characters, landscapes and subtle emotions to life, as described in the programme notes: delicate, imaginative and mysterious. The concert is designed for families and schoolchildren alike.
Children who are not yet two years old on the day of the performance do not require their own ticket, provided they do not occupy a seat. Proof of age, such as an identity card or family register, must be presented at the entrance. Pushchairs and baby carriers are not permitted in the auditorium.
