La Buffa is the company run by sisters Angi and Charo Amaya. Following long solo careers in Europe, Africa and America, they are now appearing on stage together for the first time with their own production, “Ni Fú ni fá”. Their shared history began back in the 1980s, when they used to create and perform together. They are now revisiting that cheeky and playful spirit.
The piece combines clowning and farce with a feminine sense of humour. It contrasts female jesters with the usual princess clichés and explores sibling relationships, navigating affection, arguments and the absurdities of everyday life. The grotesque serves as a space for tenderness and humour.
The performance is part of the Festival Internacional Clownbaret 2026 and will take place in the Plaza del Príncipe de Asturias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The show lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for all ages.
