La Buffa interprets “Ni Fú ni fá” as an evening of feminine humour. The play places female clowns at the centre of the action, thereby deliberately moving away from traditional princess archetypes. In doing so, the production explores new forms of clowning and bouffon.
The plot centres on sibling relationships, in which affection, conflict and the absurdity of everyday life coexist. The grotesque serves here as a space for tenderness, humour and humanity. In this way, the play combines comic elements with observations drawn from shared living.
The performance is part of the Festival Internacional Clownbaret, or FIC for short, and lasts 60 minutes. It is suitable for all age groups. It will be staged at the Plaza del Cristo in San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
