In this open-air show on the Plaza del Príncipe, two very different clown characters meet. One is tall and sturdy, the other small and slender. This contrast gives rise to a comical relationship in which Anna de Lirium is brimming with affection and would do anything to be noticed by the other, whilst Colette Gomette insists on her independence and, at the same time, doesn't always find her easy to cope with.
The production depicts the two as opposites, like yin and yang, who need one another. Their friendship is repeatedly put to the test amidst exaggerated friendliness, secret desires and ego. The show lasts 50 minutes and is suitable for all age groups.
Behind the characters are Hélène Gustin as Colette Gomette and Tanja Simma as Anna de Lirium. The two met in 2014 whilst on tour in Brazil, having searched for a stage partner for a long time. They each bring more than 25 years' solo experience to the role, ranging from international stages and festivals to performances on the street and in hospitals. Together, they carry on the tradition of classic comic duos.
THE ONE & the one can be seen in Santa Cruz on Friday 9 October 2026 at 20:30 and on Sunday 11 October 2026 at 18:00.
