The Music Day in the El Calvario neighbourhood is part of the programme for the Octava del Cristo del Calvario in Icod de los Vinos. The festivities kick off on Saturday at 14:00 with a 'parranda' afternoon.
This will be followed at 18:30 by the Pleito de rancheras featuring Ángeles Correa and Leonardo. From 20:30, the festivities will continue with a grand ball, featuring performances by the Teymar orchestra and Los Vándalos.
The event is part of the "Barrios en fiestas" programme. In the first few days of October, Los Piquetes, El Calvario and El Lomo will also be celebrating their fiestas, organised by the local festival committees and supported by the Icod de los Vinos Town Council.
