The event is part of the 2026 Fiestas de La Perdoma in La Orotava. It is being organised by the Animal Welfare Office of La Orotava Town Council. The plan is to spend an afternoon together in the church square in La Perdoma, where visitors can bring their pets.
There are further events taking place as part of the local festivities around this gathering: a gymkhana and traditional games will begin as early as 17:00 on Calle San Juan Bautista. This will be followed at 19:30 by the second day of the Triduum.
The Fiestas de La Perdoma take place from 30 September to 11 October and are celebrated in honour of the district's patron saints, the Virgen del Santísimo Rosario and San Jerónimo. The overall programme is organised by the La Perdoma Festival Committee with the support of the La Orotava Town Council. The committee will announce any changes to individual events on social media.
