The Auditorio de Tenerife is staging the touring production of “Let's Go”, which is touring Spain following two successful seasons in Madrid. At its heart is a dark love story between a musical genius who hides away in the depths of a theatre and Christine, a young singer who discovers a menacing world behind the Phantom's mask.
The music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the lyrics by Charles Hart, with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe. The libretto was written by Richard Stilgoe and Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the novel “Le Fantôme de l'Opéra” by Gaston Leroux. It is based on the original London production by Cameron Mackintosh and LW Entertainment.
The cast includes Miquel Tejada, Daniel Giró, Eva Carla Moneo, Ricardo de Lucas, Jorge Albarrán, Adrià Aguilera, Fernando García, Mireya Rodriguez, Marcos Romea, Julio Marín, Valesk A Lobo, Lucía Jiménez, María Dolores Zorzona, Cristina Álvarez and Daniel José García. The performance takes place in the Sala Sinfónica at the Auditorio de Tenerife and lasts two hours and 30 minutes, including an interval.
The producer, Letsgo, describes the production as a new, touring version of the well-known musical, which is now on tour following performances in Italy and Spain. The show is performed entirely in Spanish and is suitable for audiences aged five and over.
