Pilgrimage, offering and closing festival in Adeje
In Adeje, a pilgrimage with offerings to the patron saints winds its way through Calle Grande, followed by a grand closing verbena with live music. A romería is a traditional Canary Islands pilgrimage in honour of a saint or patron saint. Sensación Gomera, Toke Latino and Maquinaria Band will be performing on stage; admission is free.
The festivities on 18 October form part of Adeje's patron saint celebrations in honour of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación and Santa Úrsula. From 13:00, the Romería will take place on Calle Grande, featuring an offering to the town's patron saints.
The programme will then continue with a grand closing verbena. The bands Sensación Gomera, Toke Latino and Maquinaria Band are scheduled to perform.
The event forms part of a longer programme of festivities taking place in the centre of Adeje from 29 September to 18 October 2026. This includes religious, musical and sporting events.
