The music programme for Plenilunio Santa Cruz 2026 will take place from 2 to 4 October across numerous venues in Santa Cruz. The programme ranges from military music to urban styles, from popular street parades to large-scale batucadas, and from acoustic recitals to DJ sessions. Venues include the Avenida Marítima, the Avenida de Anaga, Calle de La Rosa, Calle de La Noria, the Plaza de San Francisco, the Parque García Sanabria, the Nuestra Señora de África market and the Museo Histórico Militar de Canarias at the Fuerte de Almeyda.
On Friday, the music programme begins at 20:00 with a DJ set on Avenida Marítima in front of the Cabildo. On Saturday, the day kicks off at 11:00 with batucadas in Calle de La Rosa. This will be followed throughout the day by performances by the Unidad de Música del Mando de Canarias at the Capitanía General, Luis Ramírez Cuba, Naudo Rodrigues, Dorina Violinista, the 101 Brass Band, Víctor Cáceres Sax, Celso Sax and Ana Obando on the violin. In the evening, the line-up includes the Banda Municipal at the Museo Histórico Militar de Canarias, Aliona Kuitka, Daniela Garsal, Diamond Show, Víctor y La Nube, Blue Ipanema, Lewis Potter, Locoplaya, Trío Zapatista and Lotus. Santora DJ will also be performing several sets on the Avenida Marítima.
On Sunday, the festivities continue from 11:00 with batucadas, starting on Calle de La Rosa and continuing at 12:00 as a parade along Calle del Castillo. Later in the programme, Ceila Cumbia will perform on the Borges Salas stage in Parque García Sanabria, Wladimir will play the flute and saxophone on the Fuente stage, and Guerrero will take to the Blasco Robles stage.
Plenilunio sees itself as a major event combining commerce, culture, leisure and gastronomy, designed to boost cultural activity in Santa Cruz over three days. The 2026 edition will be the 18th instalment of the event.
