Santa Cruz Extreme: Anaga Trail Marathon in Santa Cruz
The Santa Cruz Extreme is a mountain run through the Anaga Regional Park, featuring five races over 60, 33, 19 and 10 kilometres, as well as a vertical race. The event is aimed at trail runners, with a wide range of distances on offer. The start and finish are on the esplanade in front of the Plaza de España in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The Santa Cruz Extreme runs through the Anaga Landscape Park and is regarded as the region's premier mountain race. The programme includes a vertical race and four longer routes covering 60, 33, 19 and 10 kilometres. The route takes runners through gorges, small hamlets and the laurel forest of the Anaga massif.
On 18 October 2026, the Anaga XTRM Vertical will start at 17:00 in Barrio Nuevo. On 19 October 2026, the longer races will follow, with several starting points and times: the 60-kilometre route starts at 7:00 in Igueste de San Andrés; the 33-kilometre route at 9:00 at Playa de Las Teresitas; the 19-kilometre route at 10:00 in Afur; and the 10-kilometre route at 10:30 in Catalanes.
The start and finish are on the esplanade in front of the Plaza de España in the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Registrations are being taken via the event's official ticketing website.
