The route runs through the Parque Rural de Anaga, a biosphere reserve in the north-east of Tenerife, and combines mountain trails with the finish line at the Plaza de España in Santa Cruz. Depending on the distance, the races start at different locations within the municipality.
There are four races to choose from: ANAGA XTRM 42K, 25K, 18K and 10K. Start times are at 8:00 in Las Teresitas, 9:30 in Taganana, 10:00 in Afur and 10:30 in Catalanes. The finish closes at 18:00.
For the long-distance race, the organiser states a distance of 42.8 kilometres and a total ascent of more than 3,200 metres. The race starts on Las Teresitas beach, from where the route passes through some of Anaga's most distinctive landscapes on its way to Santa Cruz.
Entry fees range from 30 to 50 euros depending on the race; the event details state a starting price of 35 euros. Registration closes on 14 October 2026 at 16:00.
