The production is by Lautaro Delgado Tymruk and Sofía Brito, who are responsible for dramaturgy and direction. Lautaro Delgado Tymruk is the sole performer on stage. The play adapts Guillermo Fernández's testimony from the trial against the Argentine military juntas into a theatrical form and describes itself as a survival manual and a guide to escape.
The testimony is not merely spoken, but physically enacted. The performance employs a form of reverse ventriloquism: the performer lip-syncs the witness's voice and combines it with additional texts, sounds and soundscapes. In this way, “Seré” revolves around memory, survival and the question of how a future remains conceivable after such an experience.
The artistic design features a set by Richy Salguero and lighting by Ricardo Sica, with Conrado Beretta as dramaturg. The play was produced by Compañía SERÉ. In 2025, Seré won the ARGENTORES Award for best documentary work and was also nominated for several other theatre awards.
The performance lasts approximately 85 minutes. It is recommended for ages 16 and over; admission to the auditorium is generally permitted only for children aged five and over. The doors of La Salita open between 15:00 and five minutes before the start; no admission is permitted once the performance has begun. A post-performance discussion will take place following the first performance on 8 October 2026.
