The fair takes place on the site next to the Plaza del Socorro in El Socorro, near Tegueste. The focus is on everyday life in farming: children and young people from farming families share their experiences and demonstrate how animals are looked after and cared for.
Planned activities include demonstrations of milking and sheep shearing. There will also be horse-drawn carriage rides for the little ones. The event takes place on Saturday, 3 October 2026, from 9:30 to 13:00.
At the same time, there will be further events taking place in the Plaza del Socorro and the area behind it. These will include a children's day and an exhibition of emergency and rescue equipment. The livestock and agriculture fair is organised by Aguavite and the Comisión de Fiestas del Socorro 2026.
