The celebrations in the Barrio de El Calvario form part of the 'Barrios en fiestas' programme organised by the Icod de los Vinos Town Council. In early October, the neighbourhoods of Los Piquetes and El Lomo will also be celebrating their fiestas, organised by the festival committees and their volunteers.
A three-part evening is planned for Friday, 2 October 2026, in El Calvario. A Eucharistic celebration will begin at 19:00. This will be followed at 21:00 by the ceremonial address for the Octava del Cristo del Calvario. From 23:00, the programme continues with a set by DJ Jorge Martín.
The venue is the El Calvario neighbourhood in Icod de los Vinos on Tenerife. The event thus combines a religious celebration, a neighbourhood festival and a music programme all in one evening.
