Speech at the opening of the patron saint’s festivities in Adeje
The 2026 Patron Saint's Day celebrations in Adeje will begin with a ceremonial address and an opening ceremony. The address will be delivered by Lieutenant General Julio Salom Herrera, Commander of the Canary Islands Command of the Spanish Army. The event forms part of the celebrations in honour of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación and Santa Úrsula and will take place at the Auditorio de Adeje, with free admission.
The opening ceremony of the Adeje Patron Saint's Festivities marks the official start of the celebrations in the town. The event will take place on Sunday 4 October 2026 at 20:30 at the Auditorio de Adeje.
The Adeje Patron Saint's Festivities will run from 29 September to 18 October 2026. They are held in honour of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación and Santa Úrsula. A programme of religious, musical and sporting events is planned in the town centre during this period.
Admission to the opening night is free.
