The celebrations in honour of the Virgen del Rosario begin with a solemn Mass of thanksgiving in the Plaza de la Ermita in Machado. The Mass will be presided over by Juan Pedro Rivero González, parish priest of Santo Domingo de Guzmán in La Laguna, accompanied by the Santiago Apóstol parish choir from Playa de Santiago on La Gomera. The procession will then continue on to El Calvario. Admission is free.

The event forms part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Machado, a district of the municipality of El Rosario on Tenerife. The festivities run from 27 September to 12 October 2026. Almost all events take place in the Plaza de la Ermita, next to the chapel of Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
