The production “This Is Michael” will be performing at the Explanada del Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 16 October. The show centres on Lenny Jay, who presents a performance that draws on Michael Jackson's music, dance and signature stage aesthetic. The programme is modelled on Jackson's distinctive stage productions and brings some of the pop star's best-known songs to the stage.
A special guest of the evening is Jennifer Batten. The guitarist rose to fame through her tours with Michael Jackson and will be joining the tribute production as a performer. The evening thus combines a tribute show with a direct link to Jackson's live performances.
The event is part of the Mar Abierto festival and takes place on the grounds of the Parking Palmetum on Avenida de la Constitución in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Tickets start at 49 euros. Tickets are available online via Tomaticket.
