The unveiling is part of the festivities in honour of the Virgen de los Dolores in Barranco Hondo. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, 11 October 2026, at 19:30 at the Iglesia de San José and is specifically dedicated to the village's church clock, which has been in operation for 65 years.
This event plays a special role in the programme of festivities because it places the village itself at the centre of attention. At the same time, the church tower serves as a clear landmark for visitors immediately before the next event.
This will be followed at 20:00 by the procession of the Virgen de los Dolores, which brings the festivities in Barranco Hondo to a close. The unveiling is therefore a brief ceremony held just before the conclusion of the festivities.
