The festivities in Valle Tabares combine religious observances with local customs and a programme of events in the village. The celebrations kick off on 26 September with a Senior Citizens' Day, featuring an excursion around the island and the election of the Reina de la Tercera Edad. On 27 September, this will be followed by a demonstration training session featuring Presa Canario and Majorero dogs, organised by Aguere Adiestramiento Canino, as well as a celebration of traditions including the 18th Jacinto Báez Children's Cattle-Pulling League, a display of traditional small boats from Los Valles, and a stick-fighting demonstration by the Los Acosta Los Campostos school. Afterwards, a meal for livestock farmers is planned at the community centre.
On Friday 2 October, the programme includes the Rosary at 18:30, a Mass for the deceased of the neighbourhood, followed by three fireworks displays by PiroDylan. At 21:00, there will be a keynote speech by Dailos Daniel González, the councillor responsible for festivals at La Laguna City Council, followed by a variety show and a verbena with the group Gomeray.
Saturday, 3 October, begins from 10:00 to 15:00 in Plaza Antonio de la Rosa with a foam party, bouncy castles and children's activities. In the evening, the 'subida de los bancos típicos' takes place, featuring three traditional laps around the church in honour of the Virgen del Rosario. Afterwards, the procession, featuring the parish priest, local officials and a brass band, will follow the usual route, followed by a fireworks display by PiroDylan and a verbena with Sonora Olympia. On Sunday, 4 October, following the 'diana floreada', there will be traditional games, throwing games, sack races and Lucha Canaria in the Plaza de la Cantera. Lucha Canaria is the traditional wrestling sport of the Canary Islands, in which two wrestlers attempt to unbalance their opponent. At 18:00, an open-air mass begins with the Grupo Musical Raíces de Anaga, followed by the procession to Calle El Carpintero with local officials, traditional boats and the Banda de Música Los Silos, as well as the traditional return of the bancos to the square.
On 7 October, the Rosary will be recited at 19:00, followed by a sung Mass at 19:30 to mark the feast day of the Virgen del Rosario. On 9 October, from 17:00, there will be a Children's Day with games, face painting, workshops and refreshments in the Plaza Antonio de la Rosa. This will be followed at 21:00 by a festival of parrandas from the Canary Islands and then a verbena with the Orquesta Gomeray. The festivities will conclude on 10 October at 11:00 with an 'envite' marathon and, from 22:00, the closing verbena featuring the handing over of the flags and a performance by the group Relieve.
