A water festival featuring a foam cannon by Komba Producciones is taking place in the Plaza del Socorro in El Socorro. The Water Festival begins on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at 13:00 in the Plaza del Socorro in El Socorro, near Tegueste. According to the programme, the square will be transformed into a water party featuring a foam cannon provided by Komba Producciones.
The event marks the culmination of a long Saturday morning, which began at 9:30 with three simultaneous activities taking place on the square and in the surrounding area. Earlier in the day, the programme featured activities for children, a livestock fair and an exhibition of rescue equipment.
The festivities continue into the afternoon and evening. An Octave Mass is scheduled for 18:00 in the parish church, followed by the burning of the Haragán at 20:00. The day will conclude with a verbena. Throughout the festivities, the organising committee asks that you bring a cup from home or buy one from the kiosks.
