Storm Therese batters Puerto de la Cruz

Up to 60 litres of rain per hour per square metre literally flooded Puerto de la Cruz on Tenerife at the end of March 2026. Underpasses were filled to the brim and the Plaza del Charco was flooded. The day after, clean-up work was still under way. We're showing the photos and videos.
