The Las Calderas Trail Race is a running and walking event featuring a range of distances around Los Lajares on Fuerteventura. The start and finish are at the Plaza Grande, and the programme includes a 17-kilometre run, a 10-kilometre run, a seven-kilometre walking route and three children's races. The event is aimed at adults and children, with separate starts according to route and age group.

The event starts and finishes at the Plaza Grande in the village of Los Lajares, in the municipality of La Oliva. It kicks off on Saturday at 10:00 with the Calderón Extreme, a 17-kilometre race. This is followed at 10:15 by the Mini Calderón, a 10-kilometre race, and at 10:30 the Pateíto, a 7-kilometre walking route, gets underway.
After that, three children's races are on the programme. The starts are scheduled for 10:45, 11:00 and 11:15. The distances are 900, 600 and 300 metres. These distances are intended for the age groups 11 to 15 years, 6 to 10 years and 3 to 5 years.
