30. Pilgrimage and offering to Nuestra Señora del Rosario
The 30th Pilgrimage and Offering to Nuestra Señora del Rosario is a procession in Agüimes, followed by the presentation of a donation to Cáritas. A 'romería' is a traditional pilgrimage with a festive atmosphere. The event forms part of the Fiestas del Rosario, starts at the municipal swimming pool and provides a wheelchair-accessible area in front of the church for people with reduced mobility.
The pilgrimage begins on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at 18:00 at the municipal swimming pool in Agüimes. At 20:00, the offering will be presented, the proceeds of which will go to Cáritas of the Agüimes Pastoral Unit.
The event forms part of the Fiestas del Rosario, which will be celebrated in Agüimes from 18 September to 13 October 2026. According to the announcement, the festival programme includes pilgrimages, concerts, religious celebrations and rural traditions in the old town.
An 'Espacio Plus' will be set up in front of the church entrance. This area is designed for people with reduced mobility and features reserved seating and accessible toilets.
