It is complemented by an audiovisual archive drawing on the traditional culture and collective memory of the Canary Islands. The piece is complemented by an audiovisual archive drawn from the traditional culture and memories of the Canary Islands. The result is a historical-ethnographic work that blends the performing arts with documentary elements.

In terms of content, "Ancestros; ritos y costumbres" explores the culture of ancestors in the Canary Islands. The focus is on society's view of death and the associated rituals on the islands. The production aims to convey these traditions whilst also encouraging reflection on them.
