Bodies in a Trap: Shakespeare Theatre in Las Palmas

"Cuerpos en trampa, Shakespeare: el cuerpo de la locura" is a theatre production that explores six of Shakespeare's stories centred on the body. This gives rise to six distinct stage worlds in which passion, violence, desire and madness play a central role.
The approach is physically oriented: the language does not remain on the page, but is translated into performance, breathing and movement. Consequently, the production focuses less on the text itself and more on its embodiment on stage.
The performance takes place at El Aparte Espacio Creativo, Calle Pérez del Toro 34, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The venue is an independent theatre in the island's capital. Admission costs 12.37 euros, including fees.
