10 October is the feast day of Nuestra Señora de La Luz and thus the main day of the Antiguas y Tradicionales Fiestas de La Naval in La Isleta. The festivities begin with the Diana floreada, which starts at 9:00 in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de La Luz.
From 10:00, the arts and crafts market opens in the gardens of the Castillo de La Luz and on Calle Juan Rejón. Handicrafts and local produce are on sale. This means the festivities are spread across several locations in La Isleta.
In the evening, the procession takes place at 20:00. The Batalla Naval begins at 23:00. The main day of the festival is organised by the La Luz de La Naval association in collaboration with the local council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
