The gala begins on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at 21:00 in Valle de los Nueve Alto, Telde. It forms part of the programme for the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, which last for several weeks.
The 'Caca de la Vaca' competition is scheduled for 12 noon on the same Saturday. This means the day's festivities combine a lunchtime programme with an evening event as part of the neighbourhood celebrations.
The festivities are organised by the Patronato de Fiestas Los Naranjos-Valle de los Nueve, with the support of Telde Town Council, the Island Council of Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands. In its welcome message, the organiser highlights the varied programme and the family-friendly nature of the celebrations. The organiser reserves the right to make changes to or cancel individual programme items for reasons beyond its control.
