'El eco de Troya' is a stage adaptation of Euripides' 'The Trojan Women'. Set after the fall of Troy, the play focuses on the women for whom the horror is far from over: Hecuba, Andromache and the Trojan women await a fate determined by others. Their homeland and freedom are lost; all that remains to them are their voices and their memories.
The production thus focuses not on victory, but on the consequences of war. It serves as a reminder that, in all wars, women and children pay the highest price.
The play will be performed at El Aparte Espacio Creativo, Calle Pérez del Toro 34, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. There will be two performances: on Friday 13 November 2026 and on Saturday 14 November 2026, both at 20:00. Admission costs 10.31 euros.
