Andrea lives in a world of her own, where clouds and secret melodies set the pace. Whilst her classmates plough straight through their books, she loses herself in the whiteness of the pages. The play tells the story of how she faces ridicule and the clamour of her surroundings, and how, of all people, her biggest critic in the class pauses and begins to listen to her.
Together, the two discover that different rhythms can still fit together. In doing so, the production tackles the themes of dyslexia, exclusion and understanding, making them accessible to a family audience.
The performance is part of the family theatre programme at the Teatro Municipal Juan Ramón Jiménez in Telde. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance begins. Everyone, including babies, requires a ticket. Admission costs 5 euros.
