The closing ceremony of the Fiestas de La Naval begins at the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de La Luz on Calle Pérez Muñoz with a solemn Mass. Afterwards, the procession carrying the statue of Nuestra Señora de la Luz makes its way through La Isleta, accompanied by civilian and military dignitaries.

The procession route takes in Pérez Muñoz, Juan Rejón, Albareda, Gran Canaria, Sagasta, Gomera, Avenida de Las Canteras and La Naval. The procession then returns to the church via Pérez Muñoz. Music is provided by Grupo Ibaradem.

Upon their return, there will be fireworks in the Plaza de La Puntilla, followed by the final 'traca' around the church, the Castillo de La Luz and the Plaza de La Luz. This 'Octava' marks the end of the ancient and traditional Fiestas de La Naval in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
