Paella dinner and Verbena with N-Klave in Valle de los Nueve
To mark Pilar Day, there will be a public paella in Valle de los Nueve Alto in Telde, followed by a verbena with live music. Victor Alejandro's paella costs one euro per plate, whilst the Hermanos Benítez are providing the sangría. Afterwards, the band N-Klave will be playing from 15:30. The celebration is one of the fiestas held in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pilar.
The festivities on 12 October begin at 14:00 with a paella popular in Valle de los Nueve Alto. It will be prepared by Victor Alejandro, and a plate costs one euro. The Hermanos Benítez will be serving the sangría.
From 15:30, there will be a verbena featuring the band N-Klave. Both events form part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, which are taking place in Valle de los Nueve from 3 to 25 October.
The festivities are organised by the Patronato de Fiestas Los Naranjos-Valle de los Nueve. The programme is supported by Telde Town Council, the Gran Canaria Island Council and the Government of the Canary Islands.
