The pilgrimage forms part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pilar in the Valle de los Nueve Alto neighbourhood of Telde. The programme of events runs from 3 to 25 October and is organised by the Patronato de Fiestas Los Naranjos-Valle de los Nueve. The organisers describe the celebrations as a family-friendly festival for everyone.

The Romería Ofrenda begins on Sunday, 11 October 2026, at 19:00 at the entrada de Tecén in Telde. The highlight is the procession bearing offerings for the Virgen del Pilar. That same evening, from 23:00, there will be a verbena featuring Los Favoritos and Grupo Arena.

The celebrations are supported by Telde Town Council, the Island Council of Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands. The organiser reserves the right to make changes to or cancel individual programme items for reasons beyond its control.
