Procession and paella to mark the Feast of El Pilar in Guanarteme
The festival in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pilar in Guanarteme combines a procession through the neighbourhood with a communal paella in the Plaza del Pilar and several concerts. The event is one of the neighbourhood festivals and is also suitable for families. The programme includes musical accompaniment during the procession, a performance by the group Tacones Rojos and, to round off the day, a concert by King África.

The day kicks off at 13:00 with the procession of the image of Our Lady of the Pillar through the streets of Guanarteme. It will be accompanied by the Agrupación Musical y Majorettes La Salle de Agüimes.
From 13:30, a large paella will be served to visitors in the Plaza del Pilar. At the same time, the all-female band Tacones Rojos will be performing.
At 16:00, the day's festivities will draw to a close with a final concert by King África. The event forms part of the Fiestas del Pilar de Guanarteme.
