Re-enactment of the naval battle at the Fiestas de La Naval
During the Fiestas de La Naval, the naval battle of 1595 is re-enacted with fireworks. The focus is on the attack on the town and its defence by the Castillo de La Luz. The event is also suitable for families. This is followed by a concert and a verbena to mark the Feast of the Virgin.

The re-enactment commemorates the historic naval battle of 1595, when the city was defended against Drake's attack. The re-enactment features pyrotechnics and forms part of the programme for the Fiestas de La Naval.
Afterwards, from 23:30, a concert is scheduled in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de la Luz, followed by a verbena to mark the Día de la Virgen. Performing there will be Cambio de Piel with a tribute to Marc Anthony, as well as La Mekánica by Tamarindos.
The event forms part of the celebrations in La Isleta centred around La Naval.
