Solidarity campaign ‚Un corte, una ilusión‘ in Vecindario
As part of this charity initiative during the San Rafael festivities, the local hairdressers' collective is offering haircuts for men and women in the Plaza de Los Algodoneros in exchange for a donation of a toy. The offer is aimed at families and anyone who would like to help by donating a new toy. The initiative will take place on Saturday from 10:00 to 15:00; the toy should be worth at least seven euros.

The initiative is part of the programme for the 2026 Fiestas de San Rafael in Vecindario. On Saturday 31 October, the local hairdressers' collective will gather in the Plaza de Los Algodoneros from 10:00 to 15:00 to cut hair for both women and men.
In return, participants must donate a new toy worth at least seven euros. The toys collected will go to the Santa Lucía de Tirajana Lions Club, which will distribute them during the Christmas period.
The Santa Lucía de Tirajana Town Council is organising the event, with Ascoive also taking part. The event thus combines an open activity as part of the neighbourhood festivities with a charity drive for children during the Christmas season.
