The trip begins on 7 October with a meeting at 4:45 in Santa Brígida. From there, a transfer will take you to the airport, where you will board a scheduled Binter Canarias flight to La Gomera at 7:15, arriving at 8:05. A coach and tour guide will be provided on arrival. The itinerary includes the capital with its historic old town, the Torre del Conde and the port from which Columbus set sail for the Americas. We will then travel along the GM1 road to Hermigua, stopping at viewpoints, taking coffee breaks and having the opportunity to buy traditional island sweets. This is followed by a visit to Agulo, including a stroll through its cobbled streets, and lunch at either La Zula or Las Rosas restaurant. The day ends at the Hotel Jardín Tecina with dinner and an overnight stay.
On 8 October, after breakfast, you'll be picked up from the hotel for a tour of the north of the island. Stops include Hermigua and Agulo once again, as well as Vallehermoso, where there'll be time for coffee, a visit to the church and a stroll. The tour continues to Valle Gran Rey with free time in La Calera and Vueltas. After lunch, the return journey takes you past the Laguna Grande, where there is the option of a short walk through the laurel forests. This is followed by a return to the hotel, dinner and an overnight stay.
On 9 October, the return journey begins with collection from the hotel at 9:30. The itinerary takes us to Alajeró, the highest village on the island, featuring the Silbo Gomero monument, recognised as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as well as the Erque and Erquito viewpoints. We then head to Chipude and El Cercado for a coffee break and a visit to a pottery centre. After lunch, there will be a transfer to the airport and the return flight with Binter Canarias at 17:20 to Gran Canaria, arriving at 18:10, followed by a transfer back to Santa Brígida.
The price is 350 euros per person in a twin room. A single room supplement of 75 euros applies. Additional 'Travel Insurance Plus' cover is available for 27 euros.
