Verbena with Los Favoritos and Grupo Arena in Telde
At the Pilar Fiestas in Valle de los Nueve, a verbena featuring Los Favoritos and Grupo Arena will provide the music for the evening's dancing. The celebration is one of the festivities held in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pilar and, as a family-friendly event, is aimed at a wide audience. Before that, from 19:00, the Romería Ofrenda will make its way through the village, starting from the Tecén entrance.
The Verbena forms part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pilar in Valle de los Nueve on Gran Canaria. The dance evening begins on Sunday, 11 October, at 23:00 in Valle de los Nueve Alto, Telde. Performing on stage will be the groups Los Favoritos and Grupo Arena.
Earlier in the day, from 19:00, the Romería Ofrenda will take place, starting at the entrance to Tecén. The Verbena thus follows on from one of the traditional events of the festivities. The Pilar Fiestas run from 3 to 25 October.
The event is organised by the Patronato de Fiestas Los Naranjos-Valle de los Nueve. The organising committee describes the celebrations as family-friendly festivities by everyone and for everyone. The programme is supported by Telde Town Council, the Island Council of Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands.
