To mark its ninth anniversary, the Arona Farmers' Market is organising a celebration featuring a variety of activities at the market site in Valle de San Lorenzo. From 10:00, there will be a fabric painting workshop with Betty Art, a workshop on autumn recipes and a live broadcast by Radio Rumberos.
This will be followed at 11:30 by a performance by the group Igara. Special prize draws are scheduled for 13:00. Throughout the event, visitors will be able to buy produce directly from farmers and local traders.
The anniversary celebrations thus combine a market visit, hands-on activities and live entertainment, and are aimed at a family-friendly audience. Admission is free.
