The play is divided into three sections: El Hogar, La Tierra and La Mar, that is, Home, Land and Sea. These three parts represent key places and activities in life on the Canary Islands and shape the production's theatrical form. Arona Cultura is staging the work as part of its October programme under the theme of a way of inhabiting and nurturing the Canary Islands.
The Compañía Pieles describes 'Arona' as a contemporary, deeply rooted language arising from the very heartbeat of the islands. The programme notes characterise the work as visual and sensory. The performance lasts 75 minutes; admission is restricted to children aged five and over.
