Lucio Arce is bringing his album "El remedio a la tristeza" to the stage in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Argentine artist's sixth album brings together twelve of his own compositions and builds on a recording career spanning more than two decades.
Musically, Arce blends tango, milonga, candombe, bolero and waltz. His songs bring together everyday stories, characters, nostalgia, lunfardo, irony and humour. The tracks reveal a side of tango that is not merely melancholic, but also allows for light-heartedness and wit.
The album was once again produced by Néstor Basurto, a regular collaborator of the singer. The concert at Café Teatro Rayuela on Calle Bethencourt Alfonso has been announced as a live presentation of the album. Advance tickets cost 10 euros; tickets on the door cost 15 euros.
