MC Luanna is the stage name of Luana Santos Oliveira. The singer-songwriter was born in Bahia and now lives in São Paulo. Her music is closely linked to her own personal history. As a Black woman from a favela, she channels her experiences into rap, trap and funk, and explores the theme of empowerment in her lyrics without glossing over her background and identity.
