The 25-minute performance combines a sensory stage experience with music from various eras. The programme features works by Quilter, Britten, Scarlatti, Schumann, Grieg and Boulanger. The piece centres on the sounds of nature and their connection to the history of music.
It is directed by José Carlos Campos, who also performs in the production. The cast also includes the tenor Manuel Gómez Ruiz, the dancer Sergio Pérez and the pianist Nauzet Mederos Martín. The production is by byPass Teatro and VanBonn Producciones.
The play is being staged as part of the children's and family series 'La Granja, ¡menudo espacio!' and as a co-production with the VANBONN Festival for Children's and Youth Theatre and Music. The scale of the event has been deliberately kept small: up to 25 families are admitted, each comprising one baby and one or two adults. The audience takes their seats directly on stage. There will be three performances on the same day.
