The second edition of Riot Grrrl Day on Tenerife features a programme explicitly dedicated to raising the profile of female-led music projects and the DIY ethos of Riot Grrrl culture. The line-up includes live performances by five acts from various scenes, ranging from punk, grunge and metal to rock 'n' roll.
The festival is headlined by Bala, the Galician duo Ánxela Baltar and Violeta Mosquera, who blend stoner rock, grunge, punk and metal. From the Scottish Highlands come Bratakus, featuring sisters Screany and Onzy, who are performing in Tenerife for the first time and will be presenting their album "Hagridden", released in 2026. Laura DSK from Madrid, former lead singer of Dskarrila, is making her Canary Islands debut with her third album, "Todos Amigos", which blends melodic punk rock, rap and socially critical lyrics.
The line-up is rounded off by Deaf Devils, a quartet from Valencia fronted by Lucyfer, playing a mix of action rock, punk and rock 'n' roll, as well as Las Pikas, a power trio from the Canarian scene with roots in Italy, Egypt and the Canary Islands. Their music features fast, raw punk rock rhythms and social commentary. The event starts at 19:30 at the Aguere Cultural in La Laguna.
